It's simple. More people than ever before want to eat a diet that is good for them, and even better for the environment. A Plant-based diet can reduce your dietary carbon footprint by 85%. Despite this being quite well known, a lot of us aren't eating this way because changing diets take work. That's why we've built FABA to be a place where eating a planet-forward diet is easy, tasty, and nutritious. Eating plant-based is only sustainable when it nourishes you, which is why we focus on making sure the nutrition in our meals is amazing.
We are actively working to procure ingredients with the lowest carbon footprint. This means, where possible, sourcing locally, and where not locally, sourcing ingredients via sea freight instead of airfreight. We have a long way to go to make this as efficient as possible, but we are working on improving this every day.
Locally in Singapore! We use amazing kitchens across Singapore and work with talented chefs to make our vegan flavour bombs.
Each individual product on our website has full ingredient list and nutritional information. We have a central table of nutritional information here.
As a guide, we try to keep our calories between 300-600 per serving, and are always working to make our meals as nutritious as possible.
Our chef-made meals are made in small batches and then portioned individually to make sure we provide accurate nutritional information for all of your meals. When we make the meals we then flash freeze them to lock in all of the nutritional goodness of the meals and reduce any chances of spoilage.
At FABA you can choose the meals you receive, but when you order meals there is no individual customisation of each meal offered. We provide full ingredient lists on each product page, so please check through if you have any ingredient concerns, and drop us a note via email at email@example.com if you want to double check anything.
Frozen is fresher. Nutritionally you capture more nutrients by freezing food at the point of cooking than if you allow the same food to cool down through out the dat and then reheat. This is why some veggies like peas and edamame do so well frozen and can be fresher than buying them at ambient temperatures.
Oh no! That's not what any of us want. Get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on the whatsapp on our website to get directly in touch with you and we can work to rectify that problem! Sometimes mistakes happen, but we will do everything we can to make sure we can make this a positive from a negative.
We offer delivery Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. We deliver between 8am and 6pm. We utilise existing delivery partners to provide the final mile delivery and they deliver to restaurants all across Singapore. Working with them allows us to provide free delivery to you on our usual bundle of 6 meals, but also means we are unable to provide specific delivery times. Let us know if you have specific requests and we can see what we can do to help, but know that we may have to say no to set delivery times.
Our orders close at 1pm the weekday before delivery. If you order at Tuesday at 12:50pm, you can have your deliver on Wednesday. This is the same for every weekday except Monday.
Delivery for Monday closes at Friday at 1pm.
(note: sometimes we can squeeze in some late orders if you order at 2pm the day before - just pop us a note and we can see what we can do)
You can order up to one month in advance. So if you pick up a cheeky discount code while you have a freezer of food, don't forget you can order up to 30 days in advance.
We reuse the insulation and we also organise to pick it up. If you subscribe with us, then it's very easy, just leave the insulation at your door for your driver to pick up on your next order.
If you choose not to re-order from us for whatever reason, then please feel free to drop us a note if you have the insulation and we can organise to grab it back off you.
This isn't what we want and we are so sorry it happened. Please let us know what has happened at email@example.com and pop us your order number and we will do everything we can to rectify this.
You do not need to subscribe to FABA to enjoy our meals. On the Build a Box page, simply select 'one off' to receive an individual order of meals.
When you go through the Build a Box option on our menu you can select weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery. When you are in the cart about to checkout, you will be asked for a delivery date of your order. The day of the week you select (eg. Tuesday) will then be the delivery day for your recurring orders.
We do not charge excessive pre-paid costs. We will charge your card approx three days from the before your order is scheduled to be shipped. If you have any questions, feel free to let us know via our support email firstname.lastname@example.org
In all of our subscription notification emails you have the choice to select a 'manage preferences' link. This will take you directly to your log in portal so you can change everything from the dishes you receive to the frequency of your deliveries.
It's super easy! Simply log into your account portal through the 'Manage Preferences' link you will have received through our email notifications. Once you click through there you will be able to select cancel order in the subscriptions menu.
