FABA MEALS
It's simple. More people than ever before want to eat a diet that is good for them, and even better for the environment. A Plant-based diet can reduce your dietary carbon footprint by 85%. Despite this being quite well known, a lot of us aren't eating this way because changing diets take work. That's why we've built FABA to be a place where eating a planet-forward diet is easy, tasty, and nutritious. Eating plant-based is only sustainable when it nourishes you, which is why we focus on making sure the nutrition in our meals is amazing.
Locally in Singapore! We use amazing kitchens across Singapore and work with talented chefs to make our vegan flavour bombs.
Each individual product on our website has full ingredient list and nutritional information. We have a central table of nutritional information here.
As a guide, we try to keep our calories between 300-600 per serving, and are always working to make our meals as nutritious as possible.
Our chef-made meals are made in small batches and then portioned individually to make sure we provide accurate nutritional information for all of your meals. When we make the meals we then flash freeze them to lock in all of the nutritional goodness of the meals and reduce any chances of spoilage.
At FABA you can choose the meals you receive, but when you order meals there is no individual customisation of each meal offered. We provide full ingredient lists on each product page, so please check through if you have any ingredient concerns, and drop us a note via email at hi@fabafood.co if you want to double check anything.
Frozen is fresher. Nutritionally you capture more nutrients by freezing food at the point of cooking than if you allow the same food to cool down through out the dat and then reheat. This is why some veggies like peas and edamame do so well frozen and can be fresher than buying them at ambient temperatures.
Oh no! That's not what any of us want. Get in touch with us at hi@fabafood.co or on the whatsapp on our website to get directly in touch with you and we can work to rectify that problem! Sometimes mistakes happen, but we will do everything we can to make sure we can make this a positive from a negative.
DELIVERY
We deliver Monday to Friday, from 3:00pm-5:00pm (and sometimes a little later if its busy on the road) and excluding public holidays. We use delivery partners to provide the final mile delivery and they deliver all across Singapore. Working with them allows us to provide free delivery to you on our usual bundle of 6 meals, but also means we are unable to provide specific delivery times. Let us know if you have specific requests and we can see what we can do to help, but know that we may have to say no to set delivery times.
You can order up to one month in advance. So if you pick up a cheeky discount code while you have a freezer of food, don't forget you can order up to 30 days in advance.
We reuse the insulation and we also organise to pick it up. We arrange collection days approximately once per month to collect materials. We will let you know when this happens if you've ordered within 30 days of us organising the collection.
If you choose not to re-order from us for whatever reason, then please sort the insulation into the appropriate bin.
This isn't what we want and we are so sorry it happened. Please let us know what has happened at hi@fabafood.co and pop us your order number and we will do everything we can to rectify this.
SUBSCRIPTION
You do not need to subscribe to FABA to enjoy our meals. On the Build a Box page, simply select 'one off' to receive an individual order of meals.
We have two subscription offers.
1. Rolling Subscription - you can choose to have a scheduled delivery every one, two, or four weeks
2. Prepaid Subscription - you can purchase four boxes up front (with six meals per box) for more value, and schedule deliveries with us. (The default will be for delivery once per week).
Rolling subscription will be charged approximately two days before the scheduled date of delivery.
Prepaid subscriptions are charged on payment, and then the four week cycle will auto-renew.
You may cancel the rolling subscription at your own leisure, and the prepaid can be cancelled so it doesn't commence a new cycle.
Log into our portal by selecting the customer portal button at the top of your screen! You can log in there and make any changes necessary.
It's super easy! Simply log into your account portal through the 'Manage Preferences' link you will have received through our email notifications. Once you click through there you will be able to select cancel order in the subscriptions menu.
